I would actually vote for teething since you mentioned that. I remember nursed CONSTANTLY when he was teething. Have you tried giving Tylenol before bed? In our case, we just kind of had to wait it out until the teething ended.

When my DD nurses constantly at night it's usually because of her teeth. The other night she nursed for 3 hours nonstop. Usually she goes back to normal (which is still a couple wakings, but the first stretch is the longest) after they cut.

I also agree that it is very likely a teething issue - it is one of the most common reasons for waking in the second six months.
