How much do I give?

Ok- so I only BF and always have- no bottles- I never missed a session.

Now my LO can take milk, water out of a sippy cup-

But, I have no idea how much she takes when she nurses.

She is 9 Months and nurses 4x per day and 3 solid meals and a snack

The other day I was out for the 1st time and my mom gave her 6oz. in a sippy - but, then she did not eat dinner- so I assume this is not what she takes in while nursing -

So, how do you know what they take in?

My mom is begging for her 1st sleepover- so, I am THINKING ABOUT IT- I hate to miss a nursing session.

But, I know my LO would be fine! It is just me who has the problem.

But, if I missed the 1st am feeding. How much should I give her?

She also eats breakfast. Maybe 6 oz?

NOt sure?

Any ideas?

This link has all the info you need on determining how much pumped milk you will need per bottle feeding: http://www.kellymom.com/bf/pumping/milkcalc.html

How come some posts on this board get many replies and some only get one?

Was mine not a good question?

I thought I would get some more input.

Thank you.

If others looked at your question and the response you were given is adequate, then there is no need to respond and repeat information. The site given answered your question. If it didn't, you may want to ask more questions to help clarify what you are looking for.

I agree with kari0812 in that others can see you were given a link to good article (that's very complete in regard to calculating how much ebm a baby may need) & that
