My doctor just prescribed me this medicine to "take the edge off" as I have had a really tough time with my not sleeping from the reflux with my 15 month old ( I haveposted about this other times) ....I am taking a 1/4 of a pill for a bunch of days to make sure my baby/toddler doesn't get drowsy from it. I plan to take it just as she does her last before getting up in the morning nursing in bed....she does just fine without nursing for a good amount of time at least 4 hours I know I can push it without any issue.....when she originally chose this med I was nursing much more frequently so it is even a better situation now.....any thoughts on the meds.....I am bi-polar so it is important at this point with my sleepless nights and stress level to "take the edge off" was this a good choice for a medication? or is there any advice you have? My actual dose will be 1/2 to 1 whole pill. the pill itself is .5MG......so I will most likely always take less than that......starting with 1/4 of that.
