Mouthful of new teeth making a bad latch

My 6 mo old has six teeth now - four on top and two on bottom. They came in so fast, just within this last month, that I think it's throwing off my baby's latch.
Is that possible?

For the most part it doesn't hurt when he nurses -except of course when he bites me. (One week I had a blood blister on one side and actually bleeding a little through on my nursing pad on the other side!!) But that is slowly starting to ease up.
However, sometimes he's been getting this odd latch that is really painful and pinchy feeling..like he's gripping my nipple with his teeth but not quite biting. I will reattach him and try positioning him differently but he keeps going back to that painful latch. Thankfully like I said it's not all the time, but once he does get that weird painful latch I can't seem to get him latched on right and end up just trying to endure it and end the feeding session early. lol

Could the teeth be throwing him off a bit? Has anyone experienced this?

I didn't want to start a new thread on this- so I'll post again here.

Still having lots of issues..if not more. EVERY time we nurse it hurts. I keep re-latching him correctly but it's not working. His upper (four) teeth have firm pressure on my nipple and it's a pinching pain.
It's like back to the first days of learning to latch right...I don't look forward to the nursing sessions because of the pain. :(
Its NOT toe-curling, eye watering pain - but it hurts and is uncomfortable.

I talked to another mom this weekend with a 12 mo old, and she's having the same issues.

Its bad enough that I'm considering weaning him early, although the very thought makes me sad. :(

Help!!!
