Anyone here successful in weaning their baby from nursing to sleep at naps and bedtime? I'm mostly concerned about nap time just because it takes him so long to get to sleep...and I baby 3 other children...2 of which are babies as well...so a BREAK at nap time would be GREAT!!! I would love to just be able to put him in his crib and have him go to sleep on his own with having to fall asleep nursing.

Hey Melanee! Gosh, you're getting close to your year milestone :)

You might try some of the tips here:

I assume you've tried switching out a paci to try and trick baby? That sometimes worked for us. Have you tried a swing or sling?

I'm able to get Seph to sleep without nursing as long as I'm in the room with her. So, I bring in a magazine or a book and just sit. Would that work for him?
