I have a 15 month old and I still have not began to menstruate again. I am not complaining I just was wondering at what point would that become odd. My little guy is not that into solids and still nurses a good bit at night but I just figured at 15 months I might be menstruating again. Is there an upper limit to how long breastfeeding will affect menstruation? thanks for the help

It was around 15 months when AF returned for me with number one; about the same with number two. Do note that you are still fertile, even if you haven't seen AF yet. http://www.kellymom.com/bf/normal/fertility.html

I'm not certain if there is a time period in which you should worry that AF hasn't returned. I think one of the current CLs didn't see AF for 2 years with one of her nurslings. Perhaps someone else will have an answer for that.

Mine came back at 19 mos with both my daughters ... but I've heard of over 2 years. Enjoy!

Yep, I'm the freak of nature who went 26 months before seeing AF. And I'm normally a 21-26 day kind of girl otherwise. Nothing to be concerned about!!
