Illness can be one reason for a nursing strike. Once she recovers from the illness she should return to her old nursing habits again. In the meantime here is tips on getting the baby feed during her illness: http://www.kellymom.com/health/illness/baby-illness.html#strike

It definitely sounds like it is tied more specifically to illness than a true strike. My younger son did the strike at about 10 months and would not even latch, though I am sure there are variations.


With both my boys, I found if they were stuffed up
