should I stop eating dairy?

So the first time I gave my 7mo old yogurt she had a mild allergic reaction. Blisters on her face where it touched and a rash on her trunk.
MD had me wait a week, try some on her skin, then by mouth. When I did she reacted when she took it by mouth. Again only a mild reaction but a reaction none the less.
So my question is should I stop eating dairy?

Has baby had any signs of sensitivity to dairy protein in your BM?

I introduced it after the ped said it was OK at her 6mo visit. Didn't know I wasn't supposed to.
She has terrible reflux and is on Prevacid for it, spits up a ton. I was thinking dairy may be exacerbating it if she's sensitive to it.

Thanks for your response.
I have not yet tried eliminating dairy from my diet. It is a drastic move (for me!!) but Im willing to give it a try for her benefit if she might actually benefit.

Her reflux is real, we have had to change meds and increase doses...gone for upper GI series and seen GI specialist. Our lives changed (for the better) when we finally got her on the right dose of prevacid. Now she is a happy spitter instead of crying from sun up to sundown.
No trouble gaining weight, just spitting volumes.

I think I will give the dairy elimination a shot, see what happens.
It can't hurt, and maybe it will even help me lose the last 5!

Thanks again
