How much solids should a 9.5 mth old be getting? I see some ladies talking about 1 or 2 meals, and my DS is getting 3 (breakfast, lunch, supper,) plus a few cherrios as snacks. He nurses 4x a day (morning, before his 2 naps and bedtime) and sometimes 1x at night, but he seems to be weaning from that himself. I try not to make his meals too big...like 3-4tbsp each i think. I babysit a 1yr old boy as well and so my DS is too distracted to nurse during play time, but seems to be content with what we're doing.

This can vary a little as some babies are just getting started on solids at 9 months, but others have moved up to 2 "meals" (or tastings) per day - maximum.
