ok brody is 10 months old as of aug. 30th......... he has been not nursing more than like 2 min during the day about every 3 hours........ even then have to take him to a quite place for him to nurse....... my main problem is for about the last month he goes to bed around 7pm wakes at 1030, 1130, 130, 330, 430 and 530(sometimes get up then)........ when he wakes he tend to take only one breast... i offer both but he will pitch a fit... take his pacy and go back to sleep........... during the day he is doing the same thing of pitching a fit if i try to get him to take both breast...... screams and ends up smacking his head on the rocking chair arm........ he is 23lbs and LOVES solid foods........... i am not sure there is anything this boy does not like...... i even thought maybe i should just pump during the day and give him the milk in a cup thinking maybe he would drink more and not wake so much at night...... but that really is gonna be a pain........ does anyone have any suggestions on what to do???? should i try to increase my milk??? i really dont want to do formula and have thought about throwing some whole milk into it...... i am pretty sure some of the sleep issue is routine but i have tried to not nurse and he goes for the boob like a starving person......

i nursed my middle son till he was 22.5 months old and he woke at night about every 4 hours but man this is getting to me!!!!!

Ugh, it’s going to be difficult to change this pattern at this age but it may change on it’s own. Sounds like he’s enjoying his solids and not taking as much milk via bf during the day so he makes up for it at night. You are not doing anything ‘wrong’. I just think it’s his preferred pattern.
