I'm not quite exclusively pumping yet. I'm still trying to nurse my Lo As well as pumping. When he's 4 weeks Ill be switching him to bottled breastmilk. My question is how many times should I be pumping in a day to help build up my supply before he's exclusively bottle fed?

I EP and pump every two to three hours because that is how often my baby eats. My initial thought for you would be to pump after your baby feeds to completely empty and thus build up your milk supply. Does your baby have any predictable long stretches between feeds when you could also pump? Just my thoughts! With EPing, it seems as if the general recommendation is to pump 8-12 times in 24 hours. I only do 8 and am fortunate enough to make plenty of milk. But of course it varies from person to person. Best of luck!
