Hi there--check out the beginner's guide in the roll call section. There is a section with average production and average consumption at various times post partum.

Your supply would probably be considered the upper end of "average volume producer", getting towards "high volume producer". Some HVP's produce up to 60 or more ounces a day, while other people struggle to even get 20 ounces a day. Most babies reach their peak consumption around 3 months or so, somewhere between 24 and 35 ounces. My daughter was at around 28 ounces at her highest. Some kiddos obviously drink more or less. Your baby is likely near her peak consumption, if she has not reached it.

Do check out the beginner's guide--tons of info! Welcome to the board, and great job so far!

Congrats on having a great supply. I'm averaging 22oz and my 9 week old drinks anywhere between 28 to 34 oz. Never mind building a freezer stash, I have to supplement every day. Oh well, some milk is better than none. Keep up the good work and enjoy your freezer stash:)
