Pumping Schedule: Weekday vs. Weekend

My daughter is about to turn 4 months old and I've been pumping since day 1. Supply is doing just fine (about 48oz. per day). I went back to work when she was around 6 weeks old and I've continued to pump on schedule. My normal pumping schedule is 6am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, and 10:30pm. On the weekend I may oversleep and do the first pump of the day at 7am (and then go from there, pumping every three hours).

Lately, I've been getting annoyed with the inconvenience of pumping (I also have a 2 year old). Maybe it's the 4 month slump or something. Here's my question: would I throw my body all out of whack if I have two schedules, a weekend schedule and a weekday schedule. During the week I can keep the same pump schedule, which works great since I'm at work. I just looking to be able to spend more time with my kids and off the pump on the weekend so it would be nice to stretch it to only 4 really long pumps, let's say 25 minutes each.

I don't want to screw with my supply just yet since I plan on slowly starting to wean from the pump when she is 6 months so I can be done when she is 9 months (living off the freezer stash for the remainder of her first year).

What do you all think? Has anyone done this?

There have been a lot of days I have been unable to stay on schedule and it hasn't seemed to screw too much with my supply. I think if you are regular the majority of days, the two weekend days won't mess you up. The 5 days of pumping on schedule after should correct anything.
