I am SO tired of hand washing all the bottles and pumping do-dads.

I had same issue so i started cleaning them with soap(we use pamolive) brush and then putting in dishwater(we use cascade tablets anf jetdry). this solved the issue.

sounds like it's a lot for you! that must be frustrating. i know that "i have to wash my pump parts and bottles" is sometimes a more dreaded statement/thought than "i have to pump!" both of these consume my days!

someone told me to keep the pump parts in the fridge sometimes between pumps if it makes sense

oh, and i can't stand using the dishwasher. way to time consuming since it leaves gross pools of gunk in the parts sticking up... and it discolors the bottles and parts, which is frustrating bc i need to see what's coming out!

I was handwashing my bottles at first too bc of the soap residue left after dishwashing, but I started using jet dry and the dishwasher definitely cleans everything better than I do handwashing. AND it's so much less work! So hooray for jet dry. I also have to use lemon shine b/c of hard water! Periodically, I'll sterilize the pump parts and bottle nipples just to be safe.
