Best Personal Pump-Opinions Please?

Hi all, I'm currently rently a hospital grade breast pump, the Medela Symphony. Im 13 weeks pp and have been exclusively pumping since about 1 week pp. I'd like to get a personal pump but need one that is 1. strong enough to maintain my supply and 2. quiet enough they can't hear me through the walls at work pumping! (our walls are thin!) I've seen the Medela Freestyle and while it's nice w/ all it's features, it's too loud unfortunately. The Medela Pump in Style Advanced is the next option I'm considering, just wondering how loud it is, etc. Anyone had any problems with the PISA or care to share their experience (good or bad?)

If you like the freestyle except for the noise, you can put it in a half-full tissue box or on top of something soft, like a towel.

Hi! I have both the PIS and freestyle...sorry to be the burden of 'bad' news...but the freestyle is sooooo much more quiet then then the PIS. I actually like my PIS so much better though, as the suction is so much better. I think it's because I have an older one.

Sorry, but I have to agree with pp. I also have both- Freestyle and PISA, and my Freestyle is much quieter then PISA, especially when I put it on a soft surface and cover it with a towel or something- I can hardly hear it. I used it on a plane-nobody even knew what I was doing:). I do still prefer my PISA for full time use, since the suction is much stronger and steady (I pump for at least 40 min now). I know some moms have done it, but I wouldn't trust a Freestyle to maintain my supply-to me it seems that is not really meant for EPing. And when I was researching on it a lot of ladies were complaining about motor going down very fast. I only got it as my second pump ( was renting a hospital grade Ameda at that time), because it is really unbeatable in it's convenience and portability, and in the summer we spent a lot of days on a beach in no reach to outlets and surrounded by people :)))
