My daughter is 3.5 months old and I'm noticing my milk supply decreasing. We've been supplementing with some formula. How do I increase my milk this late into the game so to speak?!?!

How often and for how long do you pump? It is definitely supply/demand! The more you pump, the more milk you make. Do you use a hospital grade pump? Drink plenty of water. Oatmeal, Mother's Milk tea and Motherlove More Milk Plus capsules (you can buy online) all helped me! Best of luck!

I started increasing my milk supply well after the 3 month mark by taking Brewers Yeast Caspules from my health food store. I haven't read anything about them that is bad, but of course I'm no doctor so obviously take them at your own risk. That said, another mom recommended them to me after they did wonders for her. I tried everything before that. Good luck!

I am having the same problem and have been for about 2 weeks. The last time I had good production was around Jan 8th. I went from getting 5-9 ounces each pumping session to maybe 1-2 ounces. I started Reglan last Monday and I haven't really seen an increase. The doctor told me that the mini pill was not causing the problem, I'm not so sure...Are any of you on the mini pill and any medicine or have any advice? Also, to maybe help you I have also heard of Fenugreek, its an herbal medicine. I may end up trying both to see what I can do. My daughter is 2 1/2 months old and I really don't want to stop using breast milk and also can't really afford to right now. I hope you have good luck with whatever you try. Keep us posted on your progress.
