Aside from the week where I ate Chinese take-out three times (I still crave egg drop soup; I can't blame pregnancy anymore!), I haven't noticed anything that I eat having a significant effect on my little Goose. However, at Thanksgiving dinner, a family friend brought up the subject and said that there were two side dishes that she ate during her son's first Thanksgiving that really gave the kid a hard time with gas. She apparently ate several helpings of kale and this mashed turnip dish (sort of like mashed potatoes, but with turnips--delicious!), and her son had a lot of trouble. She claims that is why he hates kale and turnips still (and he's 26)!
