Hi all, my daughter is 13 days old and I've been pumping since before my milk came in because we are having some latch issues. Her mouth is quite small and the lactation consultant at the hospital says she most likely needs some time to grow before latching is going to happen. So for the meantime (or maybe longer) I'm eping and it's going pretty well. However, my boobs have exploded; pre-pregnancy I was a 32A, now I'm sporting 32 F's. Is this the size I'm going to have while nursing or is it still early and should I expect them to go down some? I'm over the initial engorgement stage and they have gone down from that.

Congratulations on your daughter!

Your breasts will probably stay big for the first 8 to 12 weeks. Once your supply regulates between the 8 and 12 week mark you will probably notice they start to get smaller over time.

I ended up borrowing nursing bras from friends. I went from a 32D to a 32H and was lucky enough to have friends who had nursing bras in varying sizes. I found that I hardly used the nursing bras anyway. I mostly went braless or used cheap sleep bras
