New here, ? about hands free bra/feeding

hello! My darling is 7 weeks old today and I've been pumping since she was about 3 weeks old, with some days of nursing in there. I've quit and un-quit pumping about 3 times now LOL

I need help visualizing how you can feed the baby (bottle) while pumping with the hands free bra. I look at the shields and the bottles and the tubes and can't see how I'd be able to hold the baby. BUT it seems like having one of these bras would make things a lot easier. Between feeding the baby, getting her settled and then pumping it's sometimes over an hour spent on feeding issues. This is semi-ok during the day, but I can't handle it during the night. I'm soooooo tired! I know you all understand that!

Anyone care to try to describe this to me? Or is there a youtube video on how to do it LOL

There are more women here that are more coordinated that I am and seemed to have a better system.

What worked best for me was to prop little one in a boppy next to me, get started pumping, and then feed her while I pumped.

The best thing I bought was a hands free bra! The best invention for sure! I would put my LO in her bounce seat or boppy and feed her with one hand and surf the net with the other. :-)

If she wasn't ready for a feeding I would put her in her swing and put in a Einstein video or on her activity mat in front of me. But you really should consider a hands free will make pumping so much easier. I started exclusivley pumping at 3 weeks and LO is now 7 months...

My suggestions are similar to the other two posters. I used to put my daughter in a bouncer or carseat, hook myself up to the pump, and then feed her. Not perfect, and awkward if I really had to pick her up as the other poster mentioned, but functional.

I love my simple wishes hands free bra!! before I purchased it I spent a few weeks pumping in an old cami with a shelf bra, that I cut holes in.
when the babies wake up (i have twins) I change them, dw feeds one of them, I place one in the car seat while I put on the pump bra and pump equpt. I pu lo, hook up tubes, start pump and then place the bottle in the babies mouth.
Im holding my one of my lo's in my left arm, the elbow of that arm is resting on a desk, the main part of her body is between the pump equipment, and I hold the bottle with my right hand. I do this with both my twins but with boppys on the couch, when im alone.
