This is such a wonderful board! I wish I had known about it earlier! I had my DD 5 months ago. She was 7 weeks early and in the NICU for 1 month. She had feeding issues due to her prematurity. I was able to breastfeed and bottle with just my milk. Then, at 10 weeks she just refused the breast and actually got I'll and was hospitalized. Now, I bottle with EBM but she will occasionally feed at the breast. I pump at 10am, 3pm, 6pm, 8pm, 10:30pm and 4:30 am. Our ped wanted us to wake DD in the night because she needed to continue to gain weight. She has done exceptionally well with gaining and now we can finally let her STTN. I still have been waking to pump. Can I drop the MOTN pump? I have a good supply (I think). I usually make 1 1/2 times what LO actually needs. I am thinking of pumping at 10:30pm, 6:30am, 10am, 3pm, 6pm and 8pm. Does this sound okay?
Thanks!

Welcome to the board! It sounds like you are doing a great job! Your proposed pumping schedule is still 6x a day, and you're making a very good amount of milk compared to what your daughter is eating, so I would guess that you would be fine dropping the MOTN pump. And you are well beyond 12 weeks pp, so your supply should be established. It can take a couple of weeks to see a change in supply, so if you do choose to drop it, I would wait and see for a few weeks before you drop any other pumps (if you were planning to drop more). Hope it works out--a full night of sleep is soooooo good!
