This is my third pregnancy; however, with my past two I was age 19 and 21.

It is not recommended to pump before the birth as it can cause you to go into labour. Just start pumping as soon as you can after giving birth so you can provide colostrum to your baby right away.

With my first and third child I successfully pumped and nursed. Typically I pumped when we were going out or during the day and nursed at home and at night. I would really encourage you to nurse if at all possible, then around 3 weeks slowly introduce 1-2 bottles a day. It will be easier for you in the long run in my opinion to pump at work and nurse at home or in the night.
