I've read several times on this forum that refrigerated milk is only good for up to 5 days.

I don't use mine past a couple of days since I have an oversupply I end up having to freeze eventually anyways. So I just go ahead and freeze everything that is more than what baby will consume in couple of days. Regarding your question though, I would do the smell & taste test to make sure it is still good. Be sure to smell your milk when it is fresh so you know what it is supposed to smell like. I hear different people's milk smells different. That way when it is bad, you will know by smelling/tasting.

Spoiled breast milk STINKS. Your smell test will definitely catch it, and a baby won't drink spoiled milk (from what I have read) so you should be all set. I think people's fridges are set to different temps and people open and close them more or less frequently, so it can vary. I guess don't use your open fridge as air conditioning for your home and you'll be all set--ha!
