Freezing a Supply

Some questions regarding freezing and building a supply for when I return to work. . .

I am a bit confused as to how much I should be freezing vs refrigerating, and when I should use the freezer supply.

You always want to use fresh first. Quality goes in this order.. From the breast, fresh pumped, fridge, then frozen.

I freeze in small quantities, so I only defrost what I need for each feeding if I need any.

I'm curious how you have 65-70 oz in fridge. BM is only good in the fridge for tops 5 days. If I have extra that I know I will not use before the 5 day mark, I freeze it..
You need a freezer supply because one day your little one may need more in a day then you can make, or if you need to go away for a weekend etc.

This is how my week works, On Monday there is a lot that is defrosted. On Tuesday the milk that was pumped on Monday while at work is used and the same for the rest of the week. You use the pumped from the day before.

Hope this helps!! Good Luck!
