I usually freeze milk in 6oz increments and that has worked out pretty well. I haven't found bags that will hold 12oz, but I also haven't been looking for them. I did read in the beginning about freezing smaller amounts so as not to waste milk, but my daughter is a pretty consistent eater and I haven't found that I have wasted any. If you can find storage bags that hold that much and you are doing a slow thaw in the fridge, I would think you'd be ok with the larger amount. Maybe do a few with the small amount for emergencies?
