Thanks for the response...
Do you strap on the Pumping bra and all the parts before you leave the house or do you do it in the car?
I just wear a loose shirt so that it pulls right down over everything, and I can set everything up relatively privately by looking down the neck.
I pump on my way to work everyday and i normally set everything up in the car coz i have to drop the kids off down the street so i get everything in place then start driving. I have a freestyle and it fits perfectly in my cupholder so there is no distractions, i use the cheap nuring wrap from target to cover everything up. the only thing i worry about is the airbags, but i try to sit as far back as possible
I have a nursing "poncho" that I have used while driving and at work-the other ones just don't cover enough!!
I LOVE pumping in the car and driving!
When I was pumping, I did tons of it in the car!! I kept an extra large tshirt in the car. I would wear my nursing bra, hook horns up before I left the house or in the car depending on where i was. Then I would connect all the pieces once in the car, throw on large shirt to cover everything, then buckle and start pump. I did have to pull over once or twice in the beginning if something went wrong, but I pumped 2 times a day (to work and home) for about 5 months. I would stay attached to everything till I arrived where I was going, and slip it all off under the shirt! Hope that Helps!!!!
I pumped driving first time the other day.I put a baby blankie in the window to set up and used it to cover up. I figure no one will look that close at what is over my body. Try to think how close you pay attention to others in cars. Awkward but doable. My worst fear is an accident. I think I will do once I start work in a mont to get kids to school and spend time as wisely as possible. Good luck.
