AF just showed today after 10 months pp. I've lost about 15 ounces since yesterday, Is this normal? Im feeding 10 month old twins and they drink around 24 ounces each. I dont like giving them a lot of formula, but today I didnt have a choice. Will my supply come back after AF leaves?

It's normal to lose ounces during or just before AF or ovulation. Taking a cal/mag supplement, and doing an extra pump and/or power pumping can help you get the ounces back faster, but from what I've seen most ladies rebound on their own in a few days of normal pumping. There was someone who posted a while ago about losing the ounces during AF and having trouble getting them back, but I haven't seen an update about her (hopefully her supply did rebound), and she is the only person I've read about not having a supply rebound within a few days of AF ending.

AF stands for aunt flo. It's a term I never use in real life, but it's a handy abbreviation everyone seems to use on the boards!
