I got my af for the first time last week and my supply went down. Its still down and af has left!

Will my supply come back or is it lost forever?

My twins are 10.5 months old.

My MD thinks AF is part of the reason my supply is way down too, I started to notice a bit of a drop each month and never got those ounces back (in addition to another brief nursing success and subsequent failure that killed the supply) Just started Dom yesterday hoping it will help bump the supply back up as we're only at 8 months post partum and I want to make it at least a year.

She advised me it

I just had my 2nd post partum AF, and my supply went down 10 ounces from my daily average. AF stopped 2 days ago, but I'm still 3 ounces down from my norm. I have been doing 2 extra pumps per day, and started taking fenugreek and blessed thistle again. I am going to start power pumping to get my supply back up to 40 ounces per day, and I'll report back in a few days with the results. I have heard that most ladies' supplies rebound within a week or so of AF if they power pump/throw in extra pumps per day, and a cal/mag supplement supposedly helps. We'll see if that holds true for me! Good luck, and congrats on making it 10.5 months with twins. That is a huge accomplishment.

PS - I did order some domperidone and plan on taking that again if my supply doesn't rebound all the way.
