So I'm a little over three weeks PP and I'm a little worried about oversupply. Right now I am pumping every 3 hours and getting 8oz total. Do I need to worry about foremilk/hindmilk imbalance? My little guy doesn't have the green frothy poop but he seems to be eating a lot more than he should (4oz every three hours) and I'm wondering if it is because he is not getting enough hindmilk. How do I deal with oversupply without losing too much? I should mention that at each pumping I combine both breasts and swirl before I portion out feedings so that it all gets mixed well.

Drop pumps. I started out with an oversupply at 2 weeks PP and started dropping pumps right away, but never loosing any supply until I dropped to only 2 pumps a day. At some point your supply will top out at the amount your breasts can hold (mine was about 15 oz combined) I pumped twice a day for 4 or 5 days and then my supply worked itself out. Now I pump 3x  a day usually. Once in the morning around 8 or 9, then around 3 and again right before bed. Occasionally I add in another pump if I need extra milk for something (like mixing with soilds).

As far as foremilk/hindmilk goes, as long as you empty them all the way and then mix the milk you shouldn't have any problems.
