baby's dairy allergy and supply issues

I'm so sick of pumping and only pulling out an ounce or two. My son's diet had to be supplemented with formula, which gave him bad eczema so we switched to soy. I've read a lot of bad info about soy formula for boys causing sexual developmental issues because of the phytoestrogens, but haven't found any studies to prove or disprove it. Regardless I feel terrible that I don't produce enough milk for my baby, and I really want to give up after 8 and a half months because it seems pointless for all this stress for just 6 ounces of breast milk a day. I feel so guilty stopping though and don't know what to do. I was getting 3oz per session two Weeks ago but then I got sick, and now I have my period, and it's dropped to a half ounce. Any advice? Should I quit or keep trying?

Thank you so much! I am taking it one day at a time and have accepted that if I dry up, that's the end and it's ok. You're right, stress is a killer of all things good! I am trying not to feel so guilty because like you said, any ounce I can give him is helpful. What a great way to look at it. I feel so much better already.
