Feeling "Deflated" and Empty

Hi all,

I had a sudden drop off last month, but corrected it with one day of 8 pumps.

I thought I was safe (at 6+ months) to drop the MOTN pump and adjust my times to evenly space out 5 pumps, but since I've done that my supply has plummeted.  I feel empty every time I sit down to pump. It almost feels like I could stop pumping and I wouldn't become engorged/clogged at all.  It feels like there's no milk.   I dont' have that same rush of fullness that I would get when sitting down to pump.

I was getting 10-12 every session, now I'm getting 5-7.  Huge difference when trying to feed twins! I immediately tried adding back a pump and all the usual things (water, oatmeal, fenugreek, even domperidone) to no avail.

Anyone else bounce back from something like this?

Sounds like your supply regulated. It is totally normal. You are supposed to reach the point where your breasts don't get heavy and engorged all the time. It doesn't mean you don't have milk or that there is a problem. The composition of the milk changes and concentrates at different times, so a baby can get appropriate nutrition from a smaller volume of milk. Please don't beat yourself up over something that is very normal.
