id say alot. if u stop at 6 months, take how many oz he/she drinks a day, multiply by 30 , then multiply by 6...u might even want to add some to that in case of leaks in the bags and growth spurts...im 3 months pp and i finally have a months worth saved and i make 35-40 oz a day with my baby only drinking 15-20 a day..so for me i did 25oz x 30=750 a month...

I would say somewhere around 6000-7000 ounces. If you average 30 ounces for 7 months it comes to 6300 ounces. We started our DD on cows milk after her 1st birthday and she is transitioning and still takes 15 ounce of BM a day at 13 months so if you don't want to go to formula count on at least one more month of BM intake after the first birthday.

After dealing with frozen milk I can tell you that fresh milk is by far superior. The fat in the milk just doesn't mix back in very well after being frozen not to mention the health benefits in the milk are comprimised.
