Hi all, I have had a really easy time with pumping so far thankfully but now at almost 7 months, my nipples have been KILLING in the letdown mode on my pump for the last several days.

Don't have any brilliant ideas other than maybe you need bigger horns?? I was fine until about the 5 or 6 month mark and then developed really bad blisters that turnred into

Hmm...now that you mention it I do have little blood blisters on both nipples (which showed up a week or so before the pain) so maybe I do need bigger horns? I just assumed by now I'd be set with the right size but if your problems started around this time that could be it...thanks for answering!

I'm by no means an expert... at all. But if you're not comfortable, and you're getting blisters, try turning your pump suction down, and maybe alter your pump timing (for slower, not faster).

I just got over a bout of yeast with my 6.5 month old DD... I took an 8 ounce bottle of vinegar (1T) and water (up to the 8oz mark) with me to work to do a "rinse" after each pumping, but kept the bottle in the freezie section of my pump... and you know... the cold vinegar/water wash was actually very "calming" to my VERY sore nipples... I would just take off the lid, poke my nipple in the top, and hold the cold liquid on me for 10 seconds each side, and then air dry while I packed up my pump and parts.
