Please HELP!!! Having problems with transition...

So, I know I posted quite a few times on this topic, but I just seem to be completely stuck here...
I started to work on transition to 2 pumps about a week and a half ago, gradually moving my middle of the day pump later and later. So my morning pump stayed the same at about 8:30 am, and my mid day one is now at 6 pm. I also gradually decreased min on the pump from 45 to 40. Then I just pump for about 30 min at 10 pm to make sure I last till morning. I was hoping that this alone will decrease my supply enough so I could drop my third pump all together, or at least be able to last longer before I need to pump. But nothing is happening! I still get REALLY engorged before both of those pumps, and in fact today I woke up with pain in both of my breasts and big hard parts in them. I've also been seek for a few days with a high fever, so you'd think that would help to dry up some milk, but no luck so far. I still got 2 weeks before I go back to work ( I wanted to be ready in advance, knowing my stubborn body), but I don't really see what else I could be doing at this point to help my body finally get to those 2 pumps without running into problems ( I have to mention I'm very prone to clogs).
Please, anyone who's already been through it, I need to know some details on how to get there! What exactly did you do, for how long, how it affected your supply, how long it took all together? I need to be comfortable at 2 pumps by the time I'm back at work, because there is absolutely no way I could be pumping there, not even a little bit! And that's going to be a 12 hour window from one pump to the other. I'm so frustrated and just feel helpless...

When I was weaning I choose 1 pump to decrease minutes on... Initially I backed the minutes down too fast and ended up with mastitis... best thing I can recommend is choose 1 pump and decrease by 5mins every 5days til you no longer pump at that time...the first couple of days after you stop you maybe uncomfortable during that former pumping period but that's the best way to go about it.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I've heard about dropping minuts method. I know some ladies used with success, but never used it when dropping pumps, thinking that any milk I leave in there will immediately turn into a clog (I've been battling clogs and mastitis from day one). I only decided to incorporate this method just a little bit this time around to help me decrease my supply. And that's what I got now- two huge clogs that hurt like hell :((( I don't think that 5 min in a week and half was too fast, I think that's just the way my body build-I can't leave any milk behind...
I wasn't really planning on weaning yet-I just need to be able to last 12 hours without pumping, and I wasn't able to do more then 10.5 hours yet...is there any other way to go about it that would be safe for me?

Sorry I'm not much help because I'm just a AVP and haven't had the same problems you've had with dropping pumps.

I was researching on sudafed, thinking it might help. But it is mostly used for fast drying up, and I'm not doing that yet. Plus my son is on antibiotics, so I wouldn't want to compromise his treatment...I'm using cabbage leaves because they also seem to help with my clogs. As I've mentioned I've been sick with a fever for a few days, so really have not eaten or drunk much at all, and my appetite is still at 0. Plus I got these huge clogs now...so I just hope one of those will do the trick...
