I have decided to wean from the pump when my little guy is 9 months old (he's currently 7.5 months).

I think you mean "retire", not quit! There's a difference! While our forum sometimes seems like lots of ladies, really it's a small percentage of the world of mommies who can persevere with pumping in the long term. 9 months of breastmilk is great! If you decide to stop then, I think you should congratulate yourself for making it so far and enjoy your retirement! If you end up feeling too guilty (which you shouldn't, but it's not like we can turn off the guilt because someone says to) you could always try pumping just a couple of times a day--perhaps before the little ones are up and after they are in bed--and supplement with formula for the rest. Just a thought in the event that you choose "partial retirement" instead of full retirement. Regardless, congrats on a great job!
