25 Months and 2 weeks...
6

...and I think we are done. It was absolutely a parent led weaning and I am still walking around with a huge guilt.

And this is the kid who absolutely refused to latch on for the first 5 weeks and I started exclusively pumping with a mere goal of 6 weeks...Now after 25 months and 2 weeks and with 4 months worth of freezer stash still in the freezer and after about 34 gallons (yep, u did read that right!) of milk donations to various orgs like HMBNA, BreastmilkProject and through milkshare to a baby boy who was undergoing chemo I do have a sense of achievement :).

Huge Thanks to you ladies!

Having said all that, I might break down and let Anish nurse if he asks to :) but I think we are done.

What an incredible accomplishment, you must be so proud of yourself! You have nothing to feel guilty about, just the opposite! I will have been EPing for 6 months tomorrow and I am already weaning. I just can't do this anymore!

Dang, woman! You are a goddess! You should be so proud of yourself. I only dream of having enough a supply (of milk and of patience) to donate milk to babies who need it so badly! You're an inspiration to me.

wow, congratualations. you are a superwoman.

and it's okay if you break down a few times and let him nurse. whatever eases the transition for the both of you, right?

great job!
