Extra freezer stash? Now what?

So I've been on here for a while now, just never posted very much. Knowing there were other moms just like me going through this helped me out so much. So first of all, thank you. :)

However, I am writing now because even through our international move, I held onto my supply and made it all the way to 1 year! I had planned on going as long as our daughter wanted, but she self weaned COMPLETELY just before her first birthday! At this point I was thinking, well now what? I have a deep freezer STOCKED full of probably 300+ oz of breastmilk, and pump 2 times a day. I started giving her cereals with the milk, but it wasnt long before she was sick of that, and only wanted "real" food.

I REALLY would hate to see all this milk go to waste, any of you guys have ideas what to do with it all? I have considered donating, but I'm pretty sure that has to be freshly expressed on site. Another thing to consider is that I have never had a bag of milk thaw correctly in the fridge. Unless I thawed it under warm water, it would turn. No idea why.

You can donate your freezer stash directly to another mom/baby. Try looking up Human Milk for Human Babies (HM4HB) in your area. Lots of the states have facebook pages. If that doesn't work try Milkshare, they have forums there. I have donated 1400 ounces to someone I found on HM4HB on Facebook.

Thank you! That is exactly what I was looking for, I guess I was just using the wrong search words on google. :)
