I have a few questions out of curiosity. I BF my first two kids way beyond a year, so I'm intrigued by those who pump beyond
At 1 year I was already down to 2 pumps making around 30-35 ounces. It dropped to about 28 after a sickness and I started adding goats milk to get him used to the taste. He was drinking 32-36 ounces a day. At 14 months I dropped to one pump making 18 ounces for a few weeks until a terrible kidney infection and then Mastatis. I am now making 8-10 ounces and he is 16 months. Will continue for a while. He drinks a mix of Goat milk, kiefer, and cocunut milk. Drinking 1 bottle of bm a day.
I have been EPing for 18 months now. I still pump 3-4 times per day, and make around 30 ounces. I tried dropping to 2x per day, but my milk supply dropped below 20 ounces per day, and DD still likes to drink a lot of milk. She has stayed so healthy, and all her check ups have been so great, that I've been hesitant to mess with a good thing. She has been drinking BM out of sippies and bottles after turning 1, and has stayed at 24-28 ounces per day since she was an infant. She has had a few ounces of cow's milk here and there, but she doesn't love it, so BM and water are her primary sources of fluid.
