Hey everyone. I guess I'm considered a retired EPer. I exclusively pumped for my daughter from the day she was born until she was 16 months old. She's now 2 1/2.
We found out as I was weaning her onto regular milk that she has problems digesting pastuerized/homogenized milk. We had her on goat milk for awhile, and that seemed to help, but goat milk is too expensive and we could no longer afford $16/gal. I was using powdered goat milk, which I later found out is potentially cancerous because of the oxidation process.. THEN we discovered raw cow milk from a local farm, and she has thrived off it for atleast a year now. Unfortunately, we moved states where you can no longer purchase raw cow milk at the farm and you have to buy into a cow share program.
Due to financial problems I am considered pumping again, and want to know if anyone has any suggestions on how to start back up again. I can still get a couple drops of milk out, and.. this might be TMI, but if my fiance stimulates my breasts at all then they hurt the next day and begin to feel swollen, as if they are trying to produce milk again, but nothing really comes out, just a few drops.
