When can you just stop?? I am down to 2x a day at 7 minutes, and am only getting about 1.5 - 2 oz per session, but I am still getting engorged! Yesterday I thought I might be really close to finished - I skipped the am pump because I wasn't engorged at all. Then for the pm pump I didn't even bother pumping the right side because it still didn't feel full. But this morning both sides were full (the left more than the right, but still) and I had leaked all over the place. I pumped for 7 minutes, only got 1.5 oz, and the left side STILL feels full. How long is this going to go on for?

FTR, I am using cabbage on the left side. This is the 3rd day and I am not sure if it is helping or not.

At that point, if I were you, I would stop cold turkey and unless I felt a lump, wait for

Thanks. I already figured out that there comes a point when you have to just stop. I naively thought the milk would just dry up once you dropped enough minutes, but I know now that it doesn't work that way. The last day I pumped was Dec. 23 - a week ago tomorrow. My right boob has felt fine for days but my left one is finally starting to lose the full feeling. I did get lumps but went to the dr
