We are having major issues with my almost 5 month old DD, and I don’t even know where to begin to fix the mess we’re in.

There doesn't seem to be a Toddler Sleep board so I thought I would start here. DS, 16 months old, has been sleeping through the night 99% of the time since he was 7 months. In the past three weeks, he wakes up 2 nights a week 3-5 hours

As I'm sure you are aware every baby and every situation is different, but we did have similar difficulties with our DD (she'll be 6 months on Monday).

Oh no ! Poor momma I feel for u is she gassy ? I know I said it before but zantac really made my DD have gas issues is she nursing 6-8 times total a day ? When's the last time u tried CIO it's not My favorite thing but I know this is exhausting u ca. Console her but don't pick her up after 5-10 minutes just by patting or singing to her although I have to tell u when my DD starting putting herself to sleep around 9-10 months it was easier not to do that but she was also more aware than a 5 month old do u have a good bedtime routine?

Took her in this AM for an ear check and they are clear.

Your DD sounds SO much like mine did in fact she just started sleeping through the night around 10-11 months. There is no weight first of all that a baby shouldn't need to eat over night when BFd so throw that at the window. CIO didn't work for us either. Truthfully the sleeping came when she was taken off the Zantac it caused her to be gassy and constipated. Is baby teething at all ? Try to elevate her mattress as well that helped. I don't have a real solution for u our situation just worked itself out around 9 months with only waking up once a night. Hang in there I know it's hard I haven't slept a whole night in 16 months but it will get better. Shes still very very young do what works. At that age she should be still sleeping 14-16 hours a day so if she's not she may be over tired and unable to sleep bc of that. Good luck my dear just remember this too will pass
