ARGH! We are currently sleep training Miss10mnths and it is hard! I am currently listening to her cry her heart out and it hurts me big time. We are on night 3 only. We sleep trained Miss3yrold when she was 13 months and I remember sleeping in a room where I couldn't hear her cry. Miss3yrold didn't want to nap either. Miss10mnth old is usually good at napping and going to sleep, but then wakes up and needs to be fed/held. Today's morning nap went well. Today's afternoon nap went terribly.
I know it's worth it in the end, but it's so hard in the meantime. Last night Miss3yrold and I went to stay at my Mum's. Tonight Miss3yrold is staying at my Mum's by herself. I think I will sleep on the couch or in with the cat.
Hubbie and I are snapping at each other cause it's so heart renching and you never know if you are actually doing the right thing.
Just wanted to vent.
Just wanted to check in with you. How are things going with the sleep training?
