With the first one, yes, I wanted him to hurry up and start doing things! He did reach his milestones pretty early. Then with the second, she didn't do things early, she was more on the late end so I kept worrying. I had to let go and realize that she was going to be just fine. She was healthy and she was developing at her own rate. By age three or five you no one can tell who rolled over at two weeks old or who started talking at six months. With this third child I now realize how fast they grow up and I would love for him to stay a cuddly newborn as long as possible!

ugh. bragging mamas are awful. normally I try to hang out with people who have babies several months different from mine so there's not as huge of a competition.

a good chunk of the time they are fibbing a bit i have found:) 99% of the time the kiddos will all reach each milestone in their own sweet time. and they are perfect!

try try try not to let it freak you out. it's so hard i know:)

I hear you, I had to listen to other parents tell me how fast their kids learned or did something which I found to be 90%
