Are You Co-Sleeping?

Okay, I'm gonna admit it! And I am not afraid to admit it: Cree still sleeps with Mom and Dad. There, I said it! But let's be honest -- I was not always confident with such a statement.

The park is often a place where moms get together and chat about all things mommy. For example, did you have a natural birth, are you still breastfeeding, what is the best stroller? The list goes on and on. However, when this one question would come up -- "How is he sleeping?" -- I would find myself skipping the part where I would say, "Yeah, he's actually still in bed with momma and dadda."

My guys all slept with my husband and I for the first several months.  How about you?  Are you a co-sleeping family?  If so, do you have any plans to stop co-sleeping at a certain age?

We co-sleep quite a bit. Baby girl starts in her crib each night, but ends up in bed cuddled up next to me every single night. Usually it is because we both fall asleep while she is nursing. It seems to work, though. I don't move a single muscle while she's in bed next to us!

With my first child I tried to co sleep but I had nightmares that lasted a couple years. I'd dream that she was being squished between the mattress and the wall or that DH rolled over on top of her.  Even though I only tried to co sleep once or twice, I had night mares for a long time.

With my son, however, I was able to co sleep for 9 months.
