It's WAYYYYY too quiet around here. what is everyone up to? any fun apple picking or hayrides?

I am just hanging out getting ready for this munchkin. THINK everything is together! I really don't think she is going to make me wait out the 3 weeks until my dd. she is way low and I have been having lots of contractions on and off:) soooo excited/nervous/happy/scared.... and every day I just smoosh Piper up in big hugs because we only have a few days/weeks of just us and these hormones are making that very sad for me

So come out come out wherever you are:)!! It's very lonely here and I am going nutty. stop lurking , come chat!!!

So one of Bryan's chores is to unload the dishwasher and reload it. You would think between the two of us we could keep up with the dishes for 3 people and Wyatt's bottles.
Anyway I go to get a fork to eat my waffles with this morning for breakfast and I realize we have NO clean forks. *eye roll* I figure they are all in the dishwasher. So I am unloaded the dishes and put them away. No forks! I am taking the dishes out of the sink to put in to the dishwasher and I find a sea of dirty silverware! Every darn fork we own must have been in that sink. Dirty! I have no idea how I missed this. And why on earth didn't anybody else pick up on the ever shrinking supply of silverware? Why must I do everything? So I have all the silverware soaking in the sink right now while the dishwasher finishes washing. I am thinking about making Bryan earn his video game playing today by washing every last fork in that sink BY HAND! Maybe if I am lucky he will learn to appreciate the ease of a dishwasher. I didn't have no dishwasher when I was a kid. Had to earn my privileges the hard way ... grumble grumble grumble ...

Oh man. We didn't have a dishwasher either. After every meal we had to wash our own dishes and then one child dried and put away and the other had to wash the pots and pans. Really I don't think kids know. My chores were to vacuum the whole house, dust, clean the bathroom and mop the kitchen floor. My sisters had their own chores and our allowance was $5 a month. Not even enough for a movie. Not to mention I was the only kid on the block without a video game. Geez.

Oh and when I had laundry and didn't do it right my punishment was to sort through all the socks and match them. I say make him scrub the forks.
