Weaned baby refuses cup/bottle, doesn't like milk

My1 yr old is just off the breast. She hadn't taken a bottle in several months, and wasn't interested in sippy cups either. It was time to get her off the boob, and I figured she would have taken a cup or bottle of whole milk by now. It's been 4 days since I last nursed her... She stepped up in eating more baby food, drinks water out of an open cup, but no milk. UNLESS she eats it off my cereal with a spoon. Have any of you breastfeeding moms dealt with this? What did you do? I've tried different bottle nipples, and 4 different cup types. I'm at a loss now...
Welcome to the board! I'm glad to see you here.
Have you tried to give your 1 yr old whole milk in an open cup? Since she'll take water that way, do you think that she'd try milk the same way? Around 1 is when my oldest started drinking from a straw. That may be another option to try?
Wishing you the best of luck. Please keep us posted and let us know if you find something that works (and hopefully the other ladies here will have more advice for you!).

Some babies just don't like the taste of cows milk compared to mamas milk. As long as she's eating a balanced diet in solids, I wouldn't worry about it. Some people think cows milk is very important in brain development, others disagree. I feel getting the right vitamins and minerals in your diet is the best option.
