Thanks for the tips, it sounds doable, I will try that this week. I appreciate the part at the end about not stressing. it is hard not to stress, but I will try that too!
I have a cupboard full of snacky things. Ritz and goldfish cracker, yogurt melts, dried fruit bits, Cheerios, string cheese, cookies and these cheeto looking things. Gerber makes a ton of those things I just listed. I cut up cooked fruits and veggies into little bites for him to feed himself. We feed him pretty much anything we eat. I just make sure it is cut up really small so it is easy for him to gum up and not choke on since he only has 4 teeth.
Hi all! 10 month olds love finger foods. They're not ready for spoons/forks yet, but they want their independence. I suggest, like others have said, small chunks of bananas, avacado, cooked carrots, peas, blueberries (messy but yummy!), any soft fruit, very thinly sliced peeled apples, small pieces of toast, shredded cheese, egg yolks, pastas. It's endless, really. Good luck!!
Toast with baby food spread on it. I made Wyatt a few carrot sandwiches this week and it worked really well. I cut the crust off and then cut it into small pieces. He gobbled it up.
I made all of my own baby food with my breast milk for the extra nutritional boost. It is now going to waste because the little stinker won't eat baby food. (unless I spread it on the bread) LOL It was a good idea in theory.
that age is nice and easy:)
