Hello and welcome to the board! I always loved shopping for these kind of baby products but it can be overwhelming as you have found. There really are a ton of options out there!
Hopefully some of the ladies here will have some great advice to share with you. I'd also like to recommend that you visit the Car Seats message board here on iVillage. The ladies there are very knowledgeable about car seats and I'm sure they'd have some great advice to share with you.
We have the britax boulevard. We got it bc dh spent all of 10 minutes online and ignored the 3 months of research I had done and decided he liked thAt one.
I couldn't disagree, they are fabulous seats. Only complaint I have is since we had Ailey , piper is no longer in the middle, so we had to switch her to ff. There just was no room for it to be rd behind the seats. Just something to Consider when you narrow it down. Bru will let you try it out in your car to see if it fits
Good luck in your search. I am starting looking now. Hopefully I can stumble on a good flash sale or discontinued pattern:)
I have not bought one yet. I am totally confused. I love Graco for infant seats but am not sure I love them for convertible seats. I like the Britax ones but those can be expensive. And we need two of what ever seat we buy. One for my car and one for DH's car. I have been thinking about buying a really nice one for my car since Wyatt is with me the most. Then a cheaper one for DH's car since he mostly only rides in his car when DH picks him up after work. There is a pretty cheap car seat at Walmart that gets good ratings when I looked it up online. But most parents said it was great for your second car short ride car seat. Maybe not great for your main car though. DH liked the cheap one of course and told me to buy two of them. But now I wonder ...
We use the Evenflo Triumph Advance and love it. We also have a cheapy Cosco Scenera and it's OK though not as comfy. It is usually our travel seat/second seat. Britax is just too expensive and for $100 less the ETA is every bit as good.

Good luck and happy shopping this weekend!
