They outbid me at the last minute on a cute little girls outfit. It hadn't gotten another bid all week and someone scooped me a few minutes before auctions end. I hate that.

I had that happen twice to me last week! It's so frustrating!

You know...there are soooooo many kids clothes on eBay, I figure if someone has already bid on it, then let them have it. I just move on to the next item. I don't see the point in starting a bidding war for one outfit. I can see bidding wars for very large lots of clothes, but not for single items. I guess most people don't see it that way?

Now...if I want something that's NOT clothes (or anything else in mass quantity), then I'll snipe it. I found some books last week that I've been searching for for years (they are out of print). They are a series and this auction just happened to have the whole series all together and in great condition to boot! I found them with 6 days left in the auction and watched a small bidding war take place. Then in the last 20 seconds I took it. I was willing to pay a high price, but it turns out I didn't have to. Now in that instance, I feel justified in sniping (I'm sure other's wouldn't think so). But for items that are in mass quantity (like children's clothes), if someone has already bid, then just move on to the next item!

Hope I didn't get anyone mad at me for admitting I snipe!
