Anyone have an opinion about Hygeia pumps?

I recently came across the Hygeia Enjoye.  As I need a new pump for baby #3 (due in February), I thought I might see if anyone had an opinion.

I didn't nurse baby #1, but did nurse baby #2 for a full year.  I used an old Medela PIS.  It worked okay.  Not sure if it was because it was old or if it just tends to be "okay" for me.  I've heard varying opinions on the Medela PISA, mainly about no longer being able to adjust the speed on your own.

Any thoughts and opinions are certainly welcome!  Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for your opinion! When I used my Medela PIS, I always dumped the milk into other bottles for feeding. I used the Medela bottles for storing, and Playtex Drop Ins for feeding, so I don't think that would bother me that much. I had heard that the Medela bottles fit it, so your feedback is interesting.

Thanks again!

I looked at a Hygeia, but did not buy it.  It was extremely nice.  It was the model my IBCLC actually recommended and used foer her pumping class.  The one thing that I was not thrilled with about the Hygeia was that it is it's own sized opening and doesn't convert to either standard sized or wide mouth bottles.  So if you want to use other bottles you basically have to pump into the hygeia bottles and then pour it into other bottles or storage bags every time....which seemed annoying to me.  And no one around where I live sells Hygeia pumps or bottles--so I would have to order it all online.  But it is a really nice and durable piece of equipment.  At least the one i saw was.

I ended up getting an Ameda Purely Yours and it was great for me.  Both speed and suction were fully independently adjustable.  I give it two thumbs up (other than the fact that I generally disliked pumping).

I don't have any experience with Hygeia. I've used a PIS (from when the controls were separate) and a Lansinoh. I will bump up the thread with people's reviews, but I don't think the Hygeia is mentioned.
