I only ever pumped 2x a day for an 8.5 hour work day away from DS. No visits to nurse him. My supply adjusted at different times, but it was always ok.

I was just going to suggest starting to work through your stash and rotate stuff now because I was really bad about that and ended up (now that DS has turned 1) frantic to use stuff before it got too old....and I only had about 300oz in my stash to rotate through.

I think it's reasonable to give it a try ... especially since you have the stash to fall back on.

I think I might actually suggest replacing the feeding with a pump in the short term, but then gradually cut that pump down over a couple weeks; that way you're not going cold turkey, which might lead to engorgment.

You may find that your afternoon pump is more productive when you cut out the noon feeding/pump. But even if you were to cover the bottles with the two pumps, you probably should be rotating your stash.

My only concern would be if your supply is just now regulating, then you could see too much of a drop in total outcome. You'll probably be just fine, but if not, think about adding back a noon pump. (as things settle out in the next couple weeks, you can figure out how much you're running short each day, then divide that into your total stash amount to figure out how many weeks worth of stash you have and see if you will reach your goal that way. Remember that you can "stretch" EBM with solids at daycare if needed.)

And congrats on hitting 6 months!!!
